(April 1, 2016, 3:28 PM EDT) -- MONROE, La. — A Louisiana federal judge on March 23 dismissed with prejudice a claim involving a spinal plate, finding that the plaintiff and his expert failed to exclude other possible causes for the plate allegedly becoming misaligned in his cervical spine (Bryant Lyles v. Medtronic, Inc., et al., No. 15-910, W.D. La., Monroe Div.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 38550).
