Bayer Ignores Plaintiffs’ Mediation Offer In Mirena MDL, Seeks Judgment

Mealey's (April 1, 2016, 11:11 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc. on March 30 ignored an offer by plaintiffs in the Mirena intrauterine device (IUD) multidistrict litigation to seek court-ordered mediation, insisting that because the plaintiffs now have no general causation experts, all cases should be dismissed (In Re: Mirena IUD Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2434, No. 13-md-2434, S.D. N.Y.).
