Residents: Companies Liable For Injuries Caused By Dumped Chemicals

(March 31, 2016, 12:53 PM EDT) -- GREENVILLE, Miss. — A group of residents on March 17 filed a lawsuit in Mississippi federal court seeking damages for personal injuries and groundwater contamination caused by hexavalent chromium and trichloroethylene (TCE), which they say was dumped by the operators of a plant that manufactured automobile parts (Joe E. Sledge, et al. v. Meritor Inc., et al., No. 16-CV-053, N.D. Miss.).
