11th Circuit Vacates Certification Of Moldy Washing Machine Class
(March 31, 2016, 7:31 AM EDT) -- ATLANTA — The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on March 21 vacated a trial’s court certification of two classes of consumers who sued the maker of their washing machines alleging that faulty rubber seals caused the machines to grow mildew and remanded for further proceedings (Robert Brown, et al. v. Electrolux Home Products, Inc., d.b.a. Frigidaire, No. 15-11455, 11th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 5112).
