Fracking Association Seeks To Prevent Implementation Of State Well Regulations

(March 29, 2016, 2:47 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A hydraulic fracturing industry association on March 24 filed a complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief against the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeking to halt implementation of new regulations pertaining to oil and gas wells that it contends “substantially” dilute the concerns of the association’s members (Pennsylvania Independent Petroleum Producers Association v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, No. N/A MD 2016, Pa. Comm.).
