Mealey's (March 28, 2016, 2:44 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — Allegations that a non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma patient was unfairly denied coverage by her insurer for the immune-boosting drug Gamunex were properly rejected on summary judgment, the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals concluded March 25 (S.M. v. Oxford Health Plans NY Inc., a/k/a Oxford Health Insurance Inc., No. 15-1234, 2nd Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 5570).
