Indiana Supreme Court Strikes Down Statute Of Repose In Asbestos Cases

(March 24, 2016, 1:44 PM EDT) -- INDIANAPOLIS — A 3-2 majority of the Indiana Supreme Court on March 2 struck down the state’s 10-year statute of repose in asbestos products liability cases, finding that the statute unconstitutionally created disparate treatment of those injured by asbestos (Larry Myers and Loa Myers v.
