1st Circuit Affirms Defense Verdict In Pondimin Lung Injury Case
(March 24, 2016, 11:51 AM EDT) -- BOSTON — A First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on March 23 affirmed a defense verdict in a Pondimin diet drug primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) case, finding in part that the plaintiff failed to show a reasonable alternative design for the drug (Michael J. Tersigni v. Wyeth, et al., No. 14-1927, 1st Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 5393).
