Medical Device Makers Tell High Court That Petrella Does Not Apply To Patent Case

Mealey's (March 18, 2016, 8:27 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Medical device manufacturers argue in a March 7 brief to the U.S. Supreme Court that the ruling in Petrella v. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (134 S. Ct. 1962 [2014]) regarding the application of laches does not apply to patent infringement cases (Medinol Ltd. v. Cordis Corp. and Johnson & Johnson, No. 15-998, U.S. Sup.).
