Fracking Company: Experts, Jurisdiction Lacking In Wrongful Death Case
Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 8:42 AM EDT) -- FORT WORTH, Texas — A hydraulic fracturing company being sued by a Texas man who contends that the company is liable for the wrongful death of his mother on Feb. 16 moved in federal court for summary judgment dismissal of the action for lack of subject matter jurisdiction and on grounds that the plaintiff failed to designate expert witnesses (Daniel W. Nicholson v. XTO/Exxon Energy Inc., No. 13-899, N.D. Texas).
