Doctor Asks High Court To Review Ruling On New Drug Treatment Patent

(March 17, 2016, 2:15 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A doctor in a Feb. 26 petition asks the U.S. Supreme Court to decide whether a patent claiming a new drug treatment is required to provide evidence for that treatment under 21 U.S. Code Section 355 for its approval (Sinan Tas v. Philip A. Beachy, et al., No. 15-1089, U.S. Sup.).
