Virgin Islands High Court: Error In Testimony Exclusion Not Influential On Verdict

(March 17, 2016, 12:21 PM EDT) -- ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands — Although a judge erred in excluding expert testimony on safety and building codes for a bridge, the errors benefited a school despite a jury finding the school liable for breach of duty and negligence, the Virgin Islands Supreme Court ruled March 14 (Antilles School, Inc. v. Jamie Lembach, No. 2015-0039, Virgin Islands Sup.; 2016 V.I. Supreme LEXIS 7).
