9th Circuit Panel Reverses Order To Compel Arbitration

Mealey's (March 16, 2016, 2:32 PM EDT) -- PASADENA, Calif. — A panel of the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on March 15 reversed a federal judge’s order granting a petition to compel arbitration pursuant to the Convention on the Recognition of Foreign Arbitral Awards in a franchise agreement dispute (Casa Del Caffe Vergnano S.P.A., et al. v. ItalFlavors LLC, et al., No 13-56091, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 4720).
