Judge Reconsiders Ruling Based On Newly Discovered Evidence Involving False Claims
(March 16, 2016, 12:22 PM EDT) -- SAN DIEGO — A California federal judge on Feb. 25 granted a health care organization's directors and officers liability insurer's motion to reconsider a summary judgment ruling against it, finding that because the specific claims exclusion bars coverage, summary judgment must be granted in favor of the insurer (Millennium Laboratories, Inc. v. Allied World Insurance Company [U.S.], Inc., No. 12-2280, S.D. Calif.).
