Cloud Networking Firm Sues Cisco For Antitrust, Unfair Competition
(March 16, 2016, 10:53 AM EDT) -- SAN JOSE, Calif. — Calling Cisco Systems Inc. “an incumbent monopolist who fears competition,” a California cloud networking firm on Feb. 24 filed a complaint against the technology giant in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging violations of the Sherman Act and California’s unfair competition law (UCL) in the market for Ethernet switches (Arista Networks Inc. v. Cisco Systems Inc., No. 5:16-cv-00923, N.D. Calif.).
