Religious Groups Urge Top Court To Grant Petition

(March 14, 2016, 12:40 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — In the event that the U.S. Supreme Court finds that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) opt out violates religious practices, it should grant a petition for writ of certiorari to ensure uniformity among similar cases, plaintiffs told the court Feb. 29 (Catholic Health Care System, et al. v. Sylvia Mathews Burwell, et al., No. 15-1100, U.S. Sup.; 2016 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 932).
