7th Circuit: Staffing Agency Violated Labor Act With Threats And Firing
(March 10, 2016, 10:00 AM EST) -- CHICAGO — A staffing agency violated the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) when it twice threatened employees with discharge for engaging in protected activity and for actually discharging one of the employees, the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled March 2, enforcing an order of the National Labor Relations Board (Staffing Network Holdings, LLC v. National Labor Relations Board, Nos. 15-1354 and 15-1582, 7th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 3945).
