Judge Denies Tribe’s Motion To Block Sale Of Defendant’s Nevada Water Rights

Mealey's (March 9, 2016, 10:51 AM EST) -- RENO, Nev. — A Nevada federal judge on Feb. 16 denied a motion by a Native American tribe to enjoin the sale of an irrigation district’s Donner Lake water rights and its use of the $17.44 million proceeds (United States of America v. Board of Directors of the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District, et al., No. 95-757, D. Nev.).
