Fracking Plaintiffs: Request For Lone Pine Order Should Be Dismissed

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 4:15 PM EDT) -- WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A group of Pennsylvania residents who sued natural gas extraction companies that they allege contaminated drinking water wells through hydraulic fracturing operations on Jan. 7 filed a brief in Pennsylvania federal court opposing the companies’ motion seeking a Lone Pine case management order (Sheila Russell, et al. v. Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, et al., No. 14-148, M.D. Pa.).
