Texas Court Extends Deadline In Fracking Verdict Case To Feb. 15

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 4:00 PM EDT) -- DALLAS — A judge in the Texas appeals court presiding over the appeal of a $2.9 million verdict granted to a resident against a hydraulic fracturing company on Dec. 17 issued an order granting an extension for the filing of the record on appeal that will allow the company to continue its appeal (Aruba Petroleum Inc. v. Lisa Parr, No. 05-14-01285, Texas App., 5th Dist.).
