9th Circuit Reinstates Class Suit Over Hain’s ‘Natural’ Labeling
(March 3, 2016, 10:35 AM EST) -- PASADENA, Calif. — A Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Feb. 22 reversed the dismissal of a putative class action lawsuit brought against The Hain Celestial Group Inc. alleging that the company improperly uses the word “natural” on some of its packaging because those products contain synthetic ingredients (Alessandra Balser, et al. v. The Hain Celestial Group, Inc., No. 14-55074, 9th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 3061).
