(March 3, 2016, 9:23 AM EST) -- NEW ORLEANS — A divided Louisiana appellate panel on Feb. 17 found no merit in an appeal brought by a woman who filed suit after being bitten by her neighbor’s cat, saying the lower court was right to grant the cat’s owner summary judgment (Wardette Ducote v. Michael Boleware, No. 2015-CA-0764. La. App., 4th Cir.; 2016 La. App. LEXIS 262).
