(March 2, 2016, 4:10 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suit involving charges imposed in support of the District of Columbia’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchange challenges a tax, the exclusive jurisdiction over which falls on the District of Columbia Superior Court Tax Division, a federal appeals court held March 1 (American Council of Life Insurers v. District of Columbia Health Benefits Exchange Authority, et al., No. 14-7206, D.C. Cir.).
