Couple Tells Court Emergency Mediation Needed To Approve Fracking Settlement
(March 2, 2016, 2:36 PM EST) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania couple that is part of a royalty dispute class action against a hydraulic fracturing company on Feb. 26 filed a brief in Pennsylvania federal court arguing that emergency court-ordered mediation is needed because, without it, a settlement reached in the case is “in jeopardy of being irreparably lost” (Demchak Partners Limited Partnership v. Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, No. 13-2289, M.D. Pa.).
