Franchise Association Seeks Review Of Ruling On Seattle Wage Law

(March 2, 2016, 1:06 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The International Franchise Association has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear its appeal of a Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling tossing out its challenge to part of Seattle’s law to increase the minimum wage to $15 (International Franchise Association, et al. v. City of Seattle, et al., No. 15-958, U.S. Sup.; 2016 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 450).
