Herpes Treatment Maker Enters Into Consent Decree To Stop Selling ‘Unapproved’ Drug

(March 2, 2016, 12:02 PM EST) -- OCALA, Fla. — The manufacturer of a herbal treatment that purported to make the herpes virus dormant on Feb. 26 entered into a consent decree in a Florida federal court to stop selling the dietary supplement as an unapproved drug (United States of America v. James R. Hill, et al., No 15-577, M.D. Fla., Ocala Div.).
