High Court Should Decide Labor Act’s Reach Over Tribes, Casino Argues

(March 1, 2016, 2:07 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Native American casino on Feb. 12 asked the U.S. Supreme Court to decide whether the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) applies to tribal operations on tribal land (Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort v. National Labor Relations Board, No. 15-1034, U.S. Sup.; 2016 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 732).
