Maryland Federal Judge Drops Claims Against McDonald’s, Franchisee
Mealey's (February 29, 2016, 2:42 PM EST) -- GREENBELT, Md. — A Maryland federal judge on Feb. 26 granted in part and denied in part McDonald’s Corp. and one of its franchisee’s motion to dismiss claims in a suit brought by a restaurant patron who said she was discriminated against on the basis of her race and personal appearance (Ealise Crumb v. McDonald’s Corp., et al., No. 15-1719, D. Md.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 23640).
