New Common Benefit Motion In Morcellator MDL Drops Retroactivity, Cuts Some Rates

Mealey's (February 26, 2016, 3:31 PM EST) -- KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (PSC) in the Ethicon morcellator multidistrict litigation on Feb. 23 filed a renewed motion for a common benefit fee that will not be retroactive and that will not take the full assessment against settlements finalized before Aug. 1 (In Re: Ethicon, Inc., Power Morcellator Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2652, No. 15-md-2652, D. Kan.).
