Georgia Panel Reverses Summary Judgment Denial In Dog Bite Case

(February 26, 2016, 12:06 PM EST) -- ATLANTA — A Georgia appellate panel on Feb. 24 reversed a lower court’s order denying summary judgment to a couple who was sued because their dog bit a child, after finding that the dog did not have a propensity toward violent behavior (Julia and Dave Swanson v. Jessica Tackling, No. A15A2378. Ga. App. 2016 Ga. App. LEXIS 85).
