Federal Judge Denies Summary Judgment Motion In Bad Faith Lawsuit

Mealey's (February 25, 2016, 1:55 PM EST) -- SEATTLE — A federal judge in Washington on Feb. 23 denied an insurer’s motion for summary judgment in an insurance bad faith lawsuit, ruling that the motion depends on a vacated order denying coverage (Larson Motors Inc. v. Phoenix Insurance Co., No. 15-85, W.D. Wash.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 21995).
