Bankruptcy Judge Approves Trustees For Pittsburgh Corning Trust

(February 24, 2016, 5:33 PM EST) -- PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania federal bankruptcy judge on Feb. 8 approved the appointment of a retired plaintiffs’ attorney and two retired state court judges as trustees of the proposed $3 billion asbestos trust in the Chapter 11 case of Pittsburgh Corning Corp. (PCC), capping compensation for the trustees for work done before PCC’s plan of reorganization takes effect at $3 million (In re: Pittsburgh Corning Corporation, No. 00-22876, W.D. Pa. Bkcy.).
