Religious Objectors Ask Supreme Court To Accept ACA Accommodation Challenge

(February 23, 2016, 1:00 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) accommodation process for those who object to the contraceptive mandate violates the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), and the U.S. Supreme Court should grant review to ensure equal treatment of all challengers, plaintiffs told the court Feb. 3 (Grace Schools and Biola University Inc. and Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend Inc., et al. v. Sylvia M. Burwell, et al., No. 15-1004, U.S. Sup.; 2016 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 585).
