Federal Judge Grants Wal-Mart Summary Judgment In Slip-And-Fall Case

(February 19, 2016, 8:53 AM EST) -- HOUSTON — A federal judge in Texas on Feb. 11 granted Wal-Mart Stores Inc. summary judgment in a slip-and-fall case, saying the plaintiff failed to show that the retailer had constructive knowledge of the liquid she slipped in (Tiffany Klinger v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., No. H-15-999, S.D. Texas; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 16585).
