(February 18, 2016, 10:42 AM EST) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio federal judge on Feb. 4 granted final approval of Skreened Ltd.’s $50,000 settlement to end a class complaint brought by a former employee who alleged that the company violated the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act of 1988 by failing to properly notify and pay workers before carrying out a “mass layoff” (Melissa Mees, et al. v. Skreened, Ltd., No. 14-142, S.D. Ohio)....
