Ohio High Court Remands Res Judicata Issue In Traffic Light Camera Suit
(February 18, 2016, 9:10 AM EST) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Supreme Court majority on Feb. 9 partially affirmed and partially vacated a class certification ruling in a suit over traffic light camera fees, finding that an appellate panel erred in addressing res judicata because the trial court did not decide that question in its class certification order (Lycan, et al. v. The City of Cleveland, No. 2014-0358, Ohio Sup.; 2016 Ohio LEXIS 270).
