Bankruptcy Judge Denies Sanctions In Massachusetts Dispute

Mealey's (February 16, 2016, 2:54 PM EST) -- BOSTON — A Massachusetts federal bankruptcy judge on Feb. 11 denied a motion for sanctions against E.I. Franchise Co., finding that it did not violate the automatic stay in a bankruptcy case when it attached a debtor’s assets (In re Kevin M. Reilly, No. 15-15003, D. Mass Bkcy.; 2016 Bankr. LEXIS 434).
