Virginia Federal Judge Enters Default Judgment In Favor Of Tax Service
Mealey's (February 16, 2016, 2:46 PM EST) -- NORFOLK, Va. — A Virginia federal judge on Feb. 12 entered a default judgment against a defendant who continued to operate a Liberty Tax Service franchise after Liberty terminated the franchise agreement because of multiple breaches (JTH Tax Inc. d/b/a Liberty Tax Service v. Daniel Olivo, No. 2:15CV345, E.D. Va., Norfolk Div.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 17857).
