House Resolution Requiring Notice Of Lead In Drinking Water Passes 416-2
(February 12, 2016, 10:06 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. House of Representatives on Feb. 11 passed HR 4470, which amends the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and requires each owner or operator of a public water system to notify its customers when 10 percent of its customers have water containing lead at amounts greater than 15 parts per billion.
