Agencies, Environmental Groups Ask 10th Circuit To Expedite Fracking Case Review

Mealey's (February 11, 2016, 3:08 PM EST) -- DENVER — Government agencies and a collection of environmental groups on Feb. 8 filed a joint motion in the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals seeking to expedite argument and consideration of an appeal of a preliminary injunction preventing the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) from enforcing new federal hydraulic fracturing regulations that are opposed by several states, a Native American tribe and industry groups (State of Wyoming, et al. v. Sally Jewell, et al., Nos. 15-8126 and 15-8134, 10th Cir.).
