6th Circuit: Evidence Supported Woman’s Conviction For Aiding And Abetting Fraud

Mealey's (February 9, 2016, 12:31 PM EST) -- CINCINNATI — A Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Feb. 5 affirmed an Ohio federal judge’s decision to deny a woman’s request for acquittal and new trial after she was found guilty of four counts of aiding and abetting health care fraud and four counts of aiding and abetting aggravated identity theft, holding that the evidence presented at trial sufficiently supported the verdicts (United States of America v. Charmin Reeves, No. 15-3274, 6th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 2061).
