(February 9, 2016, 11:46 AM EST) -- JACKSON, Miss. — Citing the “conclusory” nature of a defendant’s assertion of likelihood of confusion, a Mississippi federal judge on Feb. 5 granted judgment on the pleadings after deeming a trademark infringement counterclaim insufficiently pleaded (Git-R-Done Productions Inc. v. Giterdone C Store LLC, No. 15-386, S.D. Miss.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 14328).
