Judge Affirms Ruling Finding Woman’s Appeal Over Unemployment Benefits Untimely

(February 9, 2016, 9:53 AM EST) -- NEW CASTLE, Del. — A Delaware state court judge on Jan. 25 affirmed a Division of Unemployment Insurance’s decision to reject a woman’s appeal of an order finding that she received an overpayment of benefits in 2013 after agreeing that her appeal was untimely and that she was barred from raising the issue of fraudulent conduct (Ginger Maguire v. Division of Employment Insurance and the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, No. N15A-06-003-CEB, Del. Super., New Castle Co.; 2016 Del. Super. LEXIS 52).
