Company: Government Should Provide Documents In Fracking Wastewater Dispute

Mealey's (February 8, 2016, 11:53 AM EST) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corp., on Jan. 15 filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania federal court against the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), contending that it has violated federal law by refusing to produce documents in response to a valid state court subpoena (XTO Energy Inc. v. U.S. Department of Justice, et al., No. 16-00077, M.D. Pa.).
