Panel: Some Liens Valid In Land Dispute Over Fracking Water Pump Station

(February 8, 2016, 9:35 AM EST) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A panel of the Pennsylvania Superior Court on Jan. 29 affirmed a trial court’s decision that some mechanic’s liens against properties where a pumping station was built to supply water for hydraulic fracturing were valid because the company that built the pumping station was never paid (Linde Corporation v. Black Bear Property LP, et al., No. 645 MDA 2015 and Linde Corporation v. Black Bear Property LP, et al., No. 689 MDA 2015, Pa. Super.; 2016 Pa. Super. Unpub. LEXIS 263).
