Tennessee Appeals Court: Property Owner Has No Liability For Injury At Clinic
(February 3, 2016, 8:04 AM EST) -- NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The owner of a dialysis clinic has no liability for a head injury sustained by a patient who fell while attempting to get on a wheelchair-accessible scale, the Tennessee Court of Appeals ruled Jan. 25 upholding a trial court’s decision (Krystal Choate ex rel. Clayton C. v. Vanderbilt University, No. M2014-00630-COA-R3-CV, Tenn. App.; 2016 Tenn. App. LEXIS 39).
