Missouri Jury Deliberating In 2-Defendant Pelvic Mesh Case

(February 2, 2016, 2:27 PM EST) -- KANSAS CITY, MO. — A Missouri state court jury on Feb. 1 began deliberating a woman’s claims that she was injured by pelvic mesh implants made by Boston Scientific Corp. and C.R. Bard Inc. (Eve Sherrer v. Truman Medical Center Inc., et al., No. 1216-CA27879, Mo. Cir., Jackson Co.).

Eve Sherrer sued the defendants in the Jackson County Circuit Court. In 2010, Sherrer was implanted with a Solyx pelvic mesh device made by Boston Scientific to treat pelvic organ prolapse.
