Judge Denies Disclosure Of Exposure Affidavit But Warns Against Abuses

(February 2, 2016, 12:36 PM EST) -- PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A Rhode Island judge on Jan. 22 denied a motion seeking disclosure of an exposure affidavit created in anticipation of asbestos litigation but expressed concern about the defendants’ “unenviable” position and warned against abuse (In re: Asbestos Litigation Ralph Delmonico and Donna Delmonico v. A.O. Smith Corp., et al., No. PC-14-2901, R.I. Super., Providence Plantation; 2016 R.I. Super. LEXIS 9).
