Siblings Convicted For Scheme To Steal Identities To Get Unemployment Benefits

(January 29, 2016, 9:48 AM EST) -- LAS VEGAS — A brother and sister were convicted by a federal jury in Nevada on Jan. 15 on multiple felony counts for their roles in a scheme to steal people’s identities in order to fraudulently obtain almost $300,000 in unemployment benefits (United States of America v. Frederick V. Williams, et al., No. 12cr463, D. Nev.).
