Judge Finds Potential ACA Coverage Doesn’t Bar Medical Expenses Testimony
(January 29, 2016, 9:27 AM EST) -- HACKENSACK, N.J. — Potential coverage of future medical expenses under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) does not preclude a jury hearing a medical malpractice case from learning what those expenses would be, a New Jersey judge held Jan. 22 (Ella Pannacciulli, et al. v. Michelle L. Beloff, D.O., et al., No. BER-L-845-12, N.J. Super., Bergen Co.).
